GLO 8: Global Citizenship

Global citizenship is all about encouraging young people to develop the knowledge, skills and values they need to engage with the world. And it's about the belief that we can all make a difference.

Here at Deakin University, I have worked as an Electoral Delegate for DUSA Elections by supporting one of the Parties.

Here at Deakin University, making friends from different nationalities was an interesting and fun experience. Living with them also got me the opportunity to taste their local food. Getting to know how things work back in their home country and comparing it with what I have back home, made me think how much I need to explore and understand. But we should be able to respect these differences and still be able to work together.
